Room with a view....

Casa K* is a spectacular boutique hotel in the Hollywood Hills and the perfect place for us to be in limbo after moving out of our house and putting everything in storage. The views are gorgeous and the host and hostess are incomparable. The two canine residents are sweet, if a bit barky. The food is so amazing and I have eaten so much that I absolutely need the attendance-required lap swimming with the hostess every morning. On the final morning, I am told we will be swimming a mile. I'll be good and tired for the flight. We are very lucky that this is our send off point and we get to spend it with some of the people that we will miss the most.

*Not a real hotel. So if you try to google it, you will not be able to find a link to a place you can reserve. We are staying with my aunt and uncle and enjoying family time before leaving the country for a whole year.
