Williams Family Update: Summer 2024

We ended our RTW trip in July 2022. Quite a bit has happened since then!

We moved back to the US into a house that we rented sight unseen. We rented a car, then leased a car, then bought a car. We moved across town.

Dmitri is back on campus at USC. He's been happy to have Mia on campus the past couple of years. They meet up from time to time for lunch or dinner. He's back playing poker with the buddies he missed while we were gone.

Cindy is back at it for driving around town, taking care of the family, volunteering at school, going for beach walks with friends and getting back into the swing of things with creative cocktails and fun foods with her book club gang. Once she catches up with all the backlog of blogs, she will think about what to do when she grows up. *Oct. 2024 and once again, I am DETERMINED to catch up on the RTW blog

Mia started USC. She is a rising junior and she is in the Thornton School of Music, majoring in Music Industry. She plays club beach volleyball, has a show on the campus radio station, and has a side hustle working for an event production company. This past year she worked both the Oscars and the Grammys. Last summer she traveled to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. This summer she plans to intern at Universal Music Group.

Jack started high school at Vistamar. He is finishing his 10th grade year and, in a matter of weeks, will be a rising junior. In his first two years he played on the Boys' JV Volleyball team and worked tech for several theatre productions, in addition to doing incredibly well academically. In his free time, he likes to play air soft. This summer he's looking forward to going to Japan. He's currently the tallest member of the family at 6'4. *he may have grown even taller since I first wrote this

Bali the small grey cat is still with us. She lived in two separate homes while we were traveling for a year. She moved with the family (of course!) when we moved into our new home in August of 2023. This fall she will have been with us for 20 YEARS!!!! She had a fall a few months ago and we feared the worst but she surprised us once again. She still likes naps and laps and treats. In human years she is 100 years old!
